Definition WAN (Wide Area Network)


Wide Area Network is a computer network covering a large area as an example of a computer network between regions, cities or even countries, or can be defined as well as computer networks require routers and public communication channels.WANs are used to connect a local network with other local networks, so users or computers in one location can communicate with users and computers in other locations.

WAN (Wide Area Network) is a collection of LANs and / or Workgroup connected using modem communication tools and Internet networks, from / to the headquarters and branch offices, and between branch offices.
